Neewer Q4 Pro
The Neewer Q4 Pro is a 400Ws battery-powered monolight built around a Bowens mount and a 21.6V 2800mAh lithium battery rated for roughly 325 full-power flashes. It is aimed at photographers shooting on location who need studio-level output without mains power, with recycling times ranging from 0.01 to 1.2 seconds depending on the power setting.
Compared to the standard Q4, the Pro version adds dual TFT displays, control through the Neewer Studio app, compatibility with both Neewer Q and Godox X triggers, and a freeze mode with flash durations down to 1/28,570 s. It supports TTL, Manual and Multi modes, along with high-speed sync up to 1/8000 s for wide-aperture work in daylight.
Neewer rates the Q4 Pro at a nominal 6000K (±100K). The measurements collected here document its actual spectral output across nine power levels, from full power down to 1/256, in both normal flash (M) and high-speed sync (HSS) mode — showing how correlated color temperature, exposure and color rendering evolve as the power is reduced, and how the two firing modes compare. All readings were taken at a constant 100cm distance, so the M and HSS columns are directly comparable at every power level.
